About Greater Yavapai Regional Trails Plan

This Effort

The Yavapai Plan planning area  has experienced significant population growth and land use changes. This has lead to increased interest for multi-use trails that serve diverse needs, including recreation, (non-motorized and motorized transportation), and safe routes for pedestrians and cyclists. While local jurisdictions and stakeholder groups have undertaken individual trail planning efforts over the years, a comprehensive, region-wide approach that integrates mobility and conservation planning has yet to be fully established.

Collaboration

Many entities (municipalities, agencies, and organizations) have come together to convene a robust community engagement effort to provide input in the development of a regional trails plan. The co-convener for this effort include:
